East Georgia State College places primary emphasis on financial need, academic achievement, and 未来的学术前景. Basic Eligibility Criteria
Our general eligibility requirements are that you must:

- demonstrate financial need (for most programs);
- 是美国人.S. citizen or an eligible noncitizen;
- have a valid Social Security number (with the exception of students from the Republic of the Marshall Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, or the Republic of Palau);
- be registered with Selective Service, if you’re a male between the ages of 18 and 25;
- be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a regular student in an eligible degree 或证书课程;
- be enrolled at least half-time to be eligible for Federal 直接贷款;
- maintain satisfactory academic progress;
- not be in default on a federal student loan and do not owe money on a federal grant;
- have a high school diploma or a recognized equivalent such as a GED certificate or complete a high school education in a homeschool setting that is approved under state 法律..

- Complete all application forms accurately and submit them on time,
- Provide correct information. In most instances, knowingly misreporting information on financial 帮助应用程序 forms is a violation of 法律 and may be considered a criminal offense that could result in indictment under the US Criminal Code,
- Provide documents upon request to validate the information provided on the financial 帮助应用程序. This is commonly referred to as “verification” and provides confirmation of a student’s eligibility for financial aid.
- Return all additional documentation, verification items, corrections, and/or new information requested by the Office of Student 金融援助 in a timely manner,
- Be responsible for reading and understanding all forms that you are asked to sign, and for keeping copies for your records,
- Maintain at least half-time student status,
- Remain in Good Academic Standing as described in the 大学目录 and monitored 由学院注册处处长;
- Make satisfactory academic progress as defined in the satisfactory academic progress policy for financial aid,
- Be aware of and comply with deadlines for application or reapplication for aid,
- Be aware of EGSC's refund policies and procedures,
- Report changes in name, address, telephone number, and enrollment status to Financial Aid, and the College Registrar,
- Notify the 金融援助 Office immediately regarding other assistance, including external resources and other educational benefits, received for the academic year. Such assistance must be taken into consideration when determining the financial need of a student and may affect eligibility for federal need-based aid, primarily loan 拨款项目，
- Notify the 金融援助 Office of changes in marital, enrollment and/or housing status which may result in a revision to financial aid eligibility,
